City Center Milwaukee | September 2, 2015 | Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC visionary leader is Mary Glass.  She has decided to take MPA LLC and the city of Milwaukee neighborhood strategic modeling to the Hidden Talent of the NBA Bucks Mega Greed Deal.

These are the young men, 19 years old to 31 years old, that come to the city of Milwaukee and court of basketball with HIDDEN talent and BIZ potential for partnership and MPA LLC plans to encourage engagement in the CORE CONSTITUENTS.

Demographics
The NBA Bucks Team has primarily the same demographics as the city of Milwaukee.

They are African American, other People of Color and Caucasian.

They are from cities across the USA; and, they are from Greece, Mexico, Venezuela, Canada and French Guyana.

Skin-n-the-Game
The Hidden Talent and CORE CONSTITUENTS of the NBA Bucks Mega Greed Deal are not mentioned.  They are the 18-member team of young men that will run the court in the games to Win.

These are the professionals and Hidden Talent that PAY a FEE every time they PLAY on the COURTS in the state of Wisconsin and the City of Milwaukee.  Not only the 18-member team, but any of their colleague-players from other teams that play in Milwaukee from other teams.

Therefore, they are automatically vetted and vested; and, should be a "working partner" with the neighborhoods who have been saddled with a 30-year taxpayer law (Statute 209).  They should have a say-so in the growth and success of Milwaukee the HOMETOWN according to Glass.

"Glass said, I will talk to each of the young men on the NBA Bucks Team to see if they see the benefit of creating a model - an image - that is more in line with Stewardship and Entrepreneurship of the NEW Millennium.  Additionally, since they are all less than 32 years of age, I expect nothing but INNOVATION."

YOU Tube - MARATHON NBA MEGA Bucks GREED Deal #2

L-R:  Wes Edens, Herb Kohl and Marc Larsy

UnWise Deal
An Unwise Deal between 3 Unwise Charter officers (Scott Walker - Governor, Chris Abele - Milwaukee County and Tom Barrett - Mayor of Milwaukee) of Wisconsin and 3 wealthy men (Herb Kohl - millionaire, Wes Edens and Marc Lasry - billionaires).

The deal on June 4, 2015 was presented by Walker, Abele and Barrett for $500 million. We already hear noise that the $500 million is lower than what it will be - cost overruns.

They forgot to get the authorization from the People to touch their assets for such an amount and for such a length of time.  They saddle them with 30 years of Involuntary Servitude .  They failed to be Stewards and leaders of ther People's Asset.

ABUSE OF POWER - Lack of Due Diligence - Discrimination - Disenfranchisement

August 6, 2015
City Center Milwaukee | DAY 270 | the 50th Anniversary of the Voting act was signed by 36th President Lyndon Baines Johnson on August 6, 1965.  It was to ensure that African Americans have the right to vote.  Keep in mind, this was giving a privilege that was already ours as CITIZENS OF THE USA but denied because of RACISM.

I make the point of an extra layer because there were individuals, Caucasians, who were "misusing their power" and "misusing African Americans".  We yet have this erosion by Caucasians in the Voting arena and seen over-and-over.  To which we, the People, must fight with every mean necessary to remove from the laws and day-to-day public square.

The Cheaper to Keep Them deal failed to include the VOTE and authorization of the People and created an enslavement - Involuntary Servitude for 30 years.  It included the 3-D's:  Discrimination, Lack of Due Diligence and Disenfranchisement.

Premise
When our elected officials show that they are disrespectful of the civil rights of the members of the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County; pit Milwaukee against other taxpayers around the state; wholesale mandate special laws and update authorities to give appropriateness to wrongful public policies; exclude individuals that represent the People of Milwaukee; fail to ask and receive the consent of the People of Milwaukee prior to 30 years of saddling with taxes for a private millionaire and billionaire deal; stroking the books/budget for passing; and, presentation of Smoke and Mirrors with Bait-n-Switch status quo promises; it is just criminal and we have asked for a thorough investigation of those involved in this Involuntary Servitude of the People by the office of U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch with hands on by the U.S. Department of Justice 8th District NEW Attorney General.

A recent investigation of individuals at the state level by the 8th District revealed quite a few folk that were brought before the court system with counts of felonies that also took them to incarceration.

We feel that the previous investigation of wrongdoing by elected officials in Wisconsin will pale in comparison to the Cheaper to Keep Them wrongdoing (state-county-city).

We see the Cheaper to Keep Them Deal as an enslavement of African American, other People of Color and the Work Challenged in the city of Milwaukee and county of Milwaukee.

The sprinted behavior of wrongdoing against Milwaukee stakeholders and taxpayers is dooming these folk to further generations of Enduring Concentrated Poverty.

Stay tuned.

MPA LLC YouTube Video Announcement - Misuse of Power by Elected Officials and NBA Bucks Owners/Developers

City Center Milwaukee | Day 269 | The Theme:  "It is Cheaper to Keep Them", is a reference by Scott Walker - Governor, Chris Abele - County Executive and Tom Barrett - Mayor on June 4, 2015 for their decision to underwrite the NEW Bucks Arena, PLUS.

Surprise, Surprise
The June 4, 2015 Press Conference has now gone to mesmerizing of the state, county and city elected officials to "roll-over", promise assets of the People, and buy BAIT-N-SWITCH of job creation with the millionaire Herb Kohl and Billionaires Wes Edens and Marc Larsy.

We pay these folks well - elected-appointed-hired and donor for hire government representatives.

Why did they think they could disrespect the citizenry with this type of deal with nothing in writing to support the leveraging of the People's assets less an expectation of a 30-year incarceration for taxpayers' dollars?

Just the promise of JOBS.
Did they not see that the owners and developers came with specifics:  a NEW Arena (or we will leave), special high-priced real estate, environmental perks, legislative law making, changes to present resolutions, changes to committees/boards/authorities, changes in the conducting of revenue, changes in approvals of "tax credits" for a tax increment district, use of our staff to prepare documents and meet to agree, and on and on.  This is negligence by Walker, Abele and Barrett; and, all elected officials that VOTED yes.

We have not entertained or seen an assessment if the NBA BUCKS go and the present arena is REPURPOSED - is re-used and/or the use by another "national" team.

Below gives a fact check based around the Cheaper to Keep Them plan/Deal.

Citizen Oversight
Citizen Oversight and Wake-Up Call for NBA Milwaukee Bucks Projects is another All Hands on Deck, We Can Action Item.

The volunteer group consists of interested and action-oriented individuals "who get it".

It is mandatory for the citizenry to mount an ongoing campaign on the lop-sided deal that has been pushed and are being forced down the throats of Milwaukeeans.

Cheaper to Keep Them
The press conference addressed the June 4, 2015 "runaway train" powered by Scott Walker - Governor, GOP State representatives, Chris Abele - County Executive, Tom Barrett - Mayor, Wes Edens, Marc Larsy (NBA Bucks owners), Herb Kohl (NBA Bucks limo owner), Adam Silver (NBA Commissioner), developers, investors and NBA Bucks staff.

The deal on the table is a 30-year incarceration of Milwaukeeans and their city coffers.  It is a fleecing of the assets.  It is"Involuntary Servitude" - a  violation of 14th Amendment.

If the deal proposed does not provide Reasons for Investment that match Return on Investment authorized by the People with MOU/Memorandum of Understanding specificity in quality  of life (gainful employment, affordable housing, safety matters, information technology attainment, education attainment, health care and wellness, business/ entrepreneurial partnerships) and majority economic development with the fingerprint of the Milwaukee population, NO DEAL.

Our elected officials are "SPEEDING" much too fast.

COWU-NBA Milwaukee Bucks Projects
The  group is at the forefront of information shared for decision-making.  They will seek the third branch of government (judicial), federal oversight departments and the U.S. Department of Justice to ensure that this public policy NOT WANTED by the taxpayers of majority - African American, other People of Color and the Work Challenged [Work Challenged represents UN-, UNDER-skilled; UN-, UNDER-employed; UN-, UNDER-financed neighborhood-level businesses; DISABLED; and RE-ENTRY.

Re-entry represents those returning from WAR, INCARCERATION, boomerang employment, boomerang retirement and college-certificated graduates unemployed.

The Press Conference was at the edge of Dr. Martin L. King county park to recognize:

Dr. King's long legacy of justice and to highlight two of his quotes:
*  Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
*  Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.

We recognized the lack of CATALYTIC importance of growth and infrastructure in the NBA Bucks Deal.

*  To recognize the homeless shelter down the street - Repairers of the Breach.
*  To recognize the well-known Welfare public assistance and public-dependent building on the corner of 12th & Vliet.

*  To recognize the public and private housing in the area.

These are the taxpayers that are being asked for a 30-year commitment.  They ensure that the federal funding comes to Milwaukee without fail.

CITIZEN Oversight and Wake-up Call ask County Economic and Community Development to honor name and purpose

L-Top Down:  Supervisor Patricia Jursik, Supervisor Martin Weddle, Supervisor Supreme Omokunde
L-R Bottom;  Supervisor Willie Johnson, Supervisor Steve Taylor, Supervisor James Schmitt and Supervisor Khalif  Rainey
Call for Due Diligence and a Profile in Courage is asked today of the members of the Milwaukee County Economic and Community Development Committee in their meeting of historic value today.

Committee Purpose

It oversees the administration of federal, state and local housing programs in the county, including the Urban Community Development Block Grant Program. Matters pertaining to economic development of Milwaukee County, including the best disposition of county properties, are decided by this Committee. It also makes decisions on the Research Park and the Airport Business Park.

The Milwaukee County Economic and Community Development Committee is the decision making seven-member group that has the authority of decision regarding the 1, 2, 4 and 7 blocks of the Park East real estate.  More importantly, it is the elected committee responsibility to vet their decision with that of the People.  The 7-member body consist of:

Supervisor Patricia Jursik, Chair - District 8
Committee Members
Supervisor Martin Weddle, Vice Chair - District 5
Supervisor Jim "Luigi" Schmitt - District 6
Supervisor Willie Johnson, Jr. - District 13
Supervisor Steve F. Taylor  - District 9
Supervisor Khalif Rainey - District 2
Supervisor Supreme Moore Omokunde - District 10

Last Meeting
Aye: 5 - Schmitt, Johnson Jr., Taylor, Moore Omokunde and Jursik
No: 2 - Rainey and Weddle.

According to the Minutes, Supervisor Rainey called for the vote.  What information had he gotten from his constituents to make that call given the fact that he and his colleagues (county, state and local) had been left out of the design plan and decision-making of, It is Cheaper to Keep Them deal by County Executive Chris Abele, Governor Scott Walker and Mayor Tom Barrett on June 4, 2015.

It is crucial that the taxpayers of the city and county are at the table at this point.  They are the ones with the 30-year commitment tied to this deal.  They are the owners of the real estate, tax credits, bonds, resolutions, staff and personnel engagement.  Therefore, any component of the deal must factor in the overall benefits and profits to gain by the People - their constituents.

Based on the final vote, two members of the committee were prepared to "RUBBER STAMP" the deal.  They were:

L-R:  Supervisor Martin Weddle, District 5 and Supervisor Khalif Rainey - District 2
  • Supervisor and Vice Chair Martin Weddle - District 5
  • Supervisor Khalif Rainey - District 2
This was disappointing since the two (2) African Americans represent districts NOT at the table in any of the NBA Bucks projects - Arena, Park East or otherwise.  So, what were/are they thinking?  It is disappointing because it shows a lack of due diligence and profile in courage at the table providing homework, leadership and stewardship in providing opportunity of INCLUSION and bringing to the table options of change, not RUBBER STAMPING and rolling over.

What forceful dialog was given by Supervisors Jursik, Rainey, Taylor, Schmitt, Omokunde, Weddle and Johnson to argue the merits of "HOLD" for further discussions, more documentations, conferring with their intergovernmental colleagues; and, most of all to confer with the People of their districts.

Were they taking the War Memorial input and the power players before them, insiders under the thumbprint of Chris Abele (James Tarantino, Director of Economic Development, Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Scott Manske, Milwaukee County Comptroller Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic, Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors Paul Bargren, Corporation Counsel Teig Whaley-Smith, Director, DAS David Cullen, Milwaukee County Treasurer); or, Union heads (Josh Garner, International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, and Rail Transportation Rick Parrent, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Ricardo Gutierrez, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 494 Kurt Jante, IBEW Local 494 Joel Allen, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 7 Robert Weaver, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Tim Krieg, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Tom Dewar, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Steve Buffalo, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Mike Ervin, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Robert Turner, IBEW Local 494 Todd Pauly, IBEW Local 494,  John W. Hawley, Laborers Union Local 113 Chris Oty, Laborers International Union of North America Robert K. Potter, Heat & Frost Insulators John Swan III, Laborers Union Local 113 Bernie Same, Laborers Union Local 113 Luis Guevara, Laborers Union Local 113 Tom Benevenuto, Teamsters Dale Powelait, Steamfitters Union Local 601, Greg West, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 139 Dan Bukiewicz, Milwaukee Building and Construction Trades Council)or, city of Milwaukee supporters, developers and NBA Bucks representatives (Peter Feigin, President, Milwaukee Bucks Michael Fascitelli, Minority Owner, Milwaukee Bucks, Lead Developer, Head of the Herd, LLC Rocky Marcoux, Commissioner, Department of City Development, City of Milwaukee, Tim Sheehy - MMACrather than asking and gettingthe  VOICE OF THEIR CONSTITUENTS?

The ball is in your court and so are the game rules.  Walker signed off but the deal can be broken if the key elements are not there.  Did you not KNOW THIS?  This is your job to seek the solutions and leverage the court, the bargaining field.

DO NOT draft the "powers-to-be" dialog - going along to get along and to advance YOUR personal agendas?  This brand of leadership is for the People to "fire you".

It appears that there was the willingness to go the next mile in leadership andstewardship with not only dialog but vote by Chair Patricia Jursik.  It remains to be seen today what level of leadership, due diligence, behind-the-scene leveraging and persuasion has taken place since June 15, 2015 vote.

We ask all seven (7) of the Economic and Community Development to do everything within their power to NOT "Checkmate" Milwaukeeans, especially African American, other People of Color and the Work Challenge - not a smart move in Profile of Courage and Due Diligence politics of leadership and stewardship.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Stadiums (HBO) - CAN YOU BELIEVE the Arrogance and Greed of the NBA BUCKS Owners and Barrett

John Oliver - Last Week Tonight w/John Oliver
Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC and Citizen Oversight and Wake-up Call on NBA Milwaukee Bucks projects continues to make the case that the People of Milwaukee must take a stance to seize an "out-of-control" power play and take over of city assets that convey illegally real estate and city assets by Tom Barrett - Mayor, Marc Lasry, Wes Eden and Herb Kohl.  It is said that drugs have a hallucination aspect and gangsters engage in extortion.

Perhaps we should say when it comes to this deal - millions and even billion dollar price tag have Barrett, Chris Abele and Scott Walker in a fog.  Is there a conflict of interest that has felony on it?

The three have a fiduciary responsibility to the People of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County and state of Wisconsin.

Acts of BAIT-N-SWITCH, commandeering of the People's real estate, "threat of leaving" and shakedown tactics means NO DEAL.

John Oliver Show
View the video and see how mayor Tom Barrett, ex-U.S. Senator Kohl, Marc Larsy, and Wes Edens are seen as "con men".
Do the People want to have a partnership here?

This information video has satire but the information is SERIOUS about what Stadium Owners are doing across America to get access to city and county public coffers.  It sounds "criminal".

The video is for you to decide how Milwaukeeans will address the awful deal concerning the MEGA gift-giving to the NBA Bucks owners and developers with NO REAL GUARANTEES, i.e., the NBA Bucks team comes in No. 1, every year for 30 years.

The video is 19.07 minutes.

Click the start button and then take the white circle to 9:13 for the first Milwaukee focus and then the 2nd focus at 11:50 minutes - listen closely to Tom Barrett's comments at 13.13 minutes.

MPA LLC and Citizen Oversight and Wake-up Call of NBA Bucks Projects has launched a campaign that is part of the Follow the Money information sharing a media focused "push back" for informed decision-making and reform for taxpayers and stakeholders.

Citizen Oversight and Wake-up Call on NBA Milwaukee Bucks Projects, July 12, 2015

City Center Milwaukee | DAY 245 |  On this Second Sunday,July 12, 2015, two days after the REMOVAL of the Confederate Flag from the Capitol of South Carolina, Milwaukee Professionals Association LLC calls for responsible Stewards - Citizens of Milwaukee, to stand up and against another form of injustice that is being put in place by a MISUSE OF POWER by those in elected-appointed-hired and donor for hire representatives of government.

Just as the Confederate Flag was wrong and a misuse of power and represented Slavery of African Americans and symbolized involuntary servitude, so does the recent - June 4, 2015, "It is Cheaper to Keep Them" NBA Milwaukee Bucks Deal signed by Scott Walker, governor of Wisconsin and sanctioned by Chris Abele - Milwaukee County and Tom Barrett - City of Milwaukee.

MPA LLC calls for Citizen Oversight and Wake-up Call on NBA Milwaukee Bucks Projects.

It is to say NO to the "IN-YOUR-FACE, SLAVERY, INVOLUNTARY SERVITUDE" of TAKING THE ASSETS PERSONAL and/or PUBLIC and ASSIGNING IT TO THE OWNERS AND DEVELOPERS of the NBA MILWAUKEE BUCKS OWNERS in the name of a BASKETBALL TEAM WITHOUT THE PEOPLE'S EXPRESSED SAY-SO, AGREEMENT.

The June 4, 2015 deal called, "It is Cheaper to Keep Them"signed by Scott Walker, Governor of Wisconsin, was/is BOGUS.  He failed to consult with the people.  He and his GOP representatives (DEMOCRATS were not included) failed to ethically address the sensitive and costly issues of the NBA Bucks Arena and the seige of land and massive benefits by Herb Kohl, Marc Lasry, Wes Eden, developers and investors.
